A word on grade names before anything else: Eagle, Scooter, Single and Double Parrot are Indian trade descriptors with no statutory, ISO or Codex definition behind them. They describe colour and boldness by convention, and conventions differ between exporters — so agree your grade against a sealed reference sample rather than against the name alone. That single step prevents most coriander disputes. On the measurable parameters, moisture is capped at 9%, total ash at 6% and acid-insoluble ash at 1%. The 0.3% minimum volatile oil figure circulating in the trade is a suggested limit rather than a standard, so request a lot-specific assay before you contract to it. Coriander is very light — around 351 kg/m³ loose — so a 20ft takes only about 9–10.5 MT in 25 kg bags and freight is volume-driven rather than weight-driven.
